Michelle – A journey of discovering 

My name is Michelle Wynne, well it was for twenty years. What a journey it has been that has led to my name changing to Michelle Joynerwood. A journey of discovering who I really am.

I lived in Johannesburg, South Africa, for most of my life. However, early in 2022, after two years of becoming a cherished wife, my husband and I moved to George in the Western Cape. There are many details that I could include here which are not inconsequential. However, they are also not the details that express or define who I am.

Life is an interesting and challenging journey.   

My upbringing and faith led me to have particular hopes, dreams and aspirations.Unfortunately, my life experiences had proven to be very different from what I had expected. Consequently, I questioned a lot about my life and my future.

We are all on a journey of  discovering who we are, why we are here and for what purpose we were made.

I have questioned my faith and other beliefs to discover who I truly am and not just what I have been told I am.  I am in the process of grappling with and embracing the true meaning of love.

So who am I?

• I am a mother, a daughter, a friend and a co-worker.
• I am a wounded healer, a channel for healing, light, love and hope.
• I am a soul discovering who I really am, and my immortal spirit is on a journey to a glorious eternity.

To add to this, I can now declare:

I AM LOVED.

I am the beloved of God, and I am a cherished wife.
